ELIZA PUCKETT DIES
TODAY AT HOME OF NIECE

Eliza Ellen Puckett, 82, died this afternoon at the home of a niece, Mrs. Ralph Fielder, 229 Soth Main.

Surviving are two brothers, U. N. Davisson of Winchester and Samuel Davisson of Farmland; a half-brother, William Davisson of Winchester and a half-sister, Mrs. Desmond Thornburg of Farmland, several nieces and nephews.

The body was removed to the Summers funeral home where friends may call after 5 p.m. Saturday.

Funeral services will be held at the mortuary Sunday at 2 p.m. in charge of Rev. Zelma Mills. Burial will be in Buena Vista cemetery.

OBITUARY

Eliza Ellen Puckett, daughter of Joel and Rebecca Davisson, was born March 31, 1864. Most of her life was lived near the place of her birth in the Buena Vista community.

[She was married to] Roy Puckett Nov. 12, 1887. He having preceded her in death Oct. 26, 1934.

She has been in failing health for several years, and being so lonely and afflicted she often expressed her desire to go. On Nov. 22, 1946, at the home of her niece, Mrs. Thirsda Fielder, in Winchester, she was taken from us at the age of 82 yrs, 7mo. and 21 days.

Leaving two brothers, U. N. and Samuel Davisson, one half brother William Davisson and a half sister, Mrs. Desmond Thornburg, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Suday at 2 p.m. at the Summers funeral home in Winchester, Nov. 24, 1946. Conducted by the Rev. Zelma B. Mills. Interment was in the Buena Vista cemetery.
