Mrs. Edna Black Died Tuesday Morning
Mrs. Edna Black. 69, wife of Wiley Black of Alto, died Tuesday morning in Shady Acres at Rusk after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:00 p. m., in the Lynches Chapel Church with the Rev. Gene Tomlin and the Rev. Jewel McClure officiating. Interment followed in the Shiloh Cemetery, under direction of O. T. Allen & Son Funeral Home.
Mrs. Black is survived by her husband, Wiley Black, Alto: one son, Pryor Black, Tyler; two daughters. Mrs. Edna Merle Cleary, Kilgore, and Mrs. Myrtle Felder, Alto; one brother, Henry Pryor, Rusk; five sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Trotter, Mrs. Lillian Trotter, Mrs. Ema Gabert, and Mrs. Beulah Clark, all of Rusk and Mrs. Minnie Mulllnex, Jacksonville: one grandson and four granddaughters.
