Rose Marie Perry Eckelberger Bechthold was born in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Sicilian immigrants Vincenza Prinzivalli Peri and Baldassare Peri (Perry).

She married Orville Theodore Eckelberger and was the mother of Norman and Gordon Craig Eckelberger.

Rose was a beautiful, vibrant lady who is missed by her surviving sons and three grandchildren, Christopher (Tiffany) Bryner, Michael Eckelberger and Jonathan (Shannon) Eckelberger.
