Anne Alexandra Perkins, of Natchitoches, LA, born March 05, 2010, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2011, at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA. Arrangements are being handled by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Tuesday, February 01, 2011 at New Life Evangelism Center in Natchitoches, LA. Funeral service will be at New Life Evangelism Center at 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 02, 2011, with Rev. Dennis Bjornberg officiating. Interment will be at American Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA.

Anne was our gift from God, and she fulfilled His special purpose. Thanks to all of you who, through your love and prayers, helped Anne fulfill God's will for her life.

She is survived by her parents, Kendal and Gerra Wellman Perkins of Natchitoches, LA; one sister, Katherine "Kate" Perkins; maternal grandparents, Wendell Wellman and Nelda Wellman of Natchitoches, LA; and her paternal grandparents, Kenneth Perkins and Lucy Perkins of Oakdale, LA.

In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to the National Down Syndrome Society, 666 Broadway, 8th Floor, New York, New York 10012 or Tupelo Children's Mansion, PO Box 167, Tupelo, MS 38802.
