MRS. MEDIA V. HARBAUGH, 70, wife of Paxton Harbaugh of Chewsville, died this morning at the Washington County Hospital where she had been a patient since July 24. Mrs. Harbaugh had been in failing health and confined to a wheel chair for the past 3 years.
She was born in Wayneshoro, April 19, 1894. A daughter of the late A. Harvey and Susan (Gonder) Pentz. She had lived all her life in the Waynesboro area, prior to moving to Chewsville 3 years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Harbaugh had made their home at Roadside for 42 years.
She was a member of Rouzerville Lutheran Church and ULCW of the church.
In addition to her husband she is survived by the following children, Charles Harbaugh, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Charles Bowser, Chewsville; Samuel Harbaugh, Waynesboro: and Mrs. Anna Ellders, Waterloo, Iowa. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and these brothers and sisters: Daniel Pentz, Waynesboro; Mrs. Allen Hess, Ringgold, Samuel Pentz and Miss Anna Pentz, and Mrs. Lloyd Snowberger all of Waynesboro
Funeral will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. from the Grove Funeral Home, Waynesboro in charge of Pastor William Sowers. Burial will be made in Harbaugh Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
