"Olivia P. Bermudez, 65, long time resident of Austin, passed away July 9, 2010. She was born October 23, 1944 in Monterrey, Mexico. She moved to Austin in 1960 and married Anthony Bermudez on January 15, 1964 in Laredo, Texas. Olivia had worked for the State School in Austin and later worked as a Physical Therapist for the 4 Seasons Nursing Home. She was a member of the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church. The family would like to express their thanks to Conant Ministries and the many congregations that had been praying for her over the last four years. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Anthony Bermudez of Austin; 3 sons, Tony Bermudez, Derick Bermudez and Erick Bermudez all of Austin; 2 brothers, Baldemar Pena and Obidio Pena both of Laredo; 6 sisters, Paula Barberena, Socorro Pena, Maria Pena, Guadalupe Pena, Licha Pena all of Mexico and Martha Savage of Houston; 2 grandchildren, Lindsay Bermudez and Isabella Bermudez; numerous other family members and friends...."
