Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Mai Adcock,71, of Smithville, TN. was held Saturday, July 17 in the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home.
Bro. Donald Owens officiated and burial followed at Ponder Cemetery.
Mrs Adcock passed away Thursday,July 15, 2004 at NHC Health Care of Smithville.She was a retired teacher having taught 42 years in Dekalb County school systems and a member of The New Union Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Amon Filmore Parsley & Maude Johnson Parsley and her husband, Billy Wilburn Adcock
She is survived by her daughter, Pat (Gentry) Barnes; two sons: Michael (Charlene) and Jerry Wendell Adcock , eight grandchildren & five great-grandchildren,
Love & Cantrell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
