Judith A. Ault, 70, of Grand Island died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at Golden Living Center, Lakeview in Grand Island.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island, with the Rev. Ray Kosmicki officiating.
Inurnment of ashes will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery.
Mrs. Ault was born March 23, 1943, in Gothenburg to Roy and Gertrude (Hansen) Owings.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Marion "LaVern" Kosmicki.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Eldon "Ollie" Ault of Grand Island; four sons and daughters-in-law, Patrick Kosmicki of Grand Island, Robert Kosmicki of Costamesa, Calif, Matthew Kosmicki of Grand Island, and Jason and Cindy Kosmicki of Lincoln; three daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela and Mike Colm of Grand Island, Angela and Randy Jurgens of Lincoln, and Katrina Marr of Gans, Okla.; her stepchildren and their spouses, Mike and Michelle Ault of Minnesota, Mark and Tammy Ault of Texarkana, Texas, Michelle Upah of Grand Island, and Matthew and Liz Ault of Grand Island; a brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Becky Owings of Grand Island; and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Annette Hovland of Grand Island of Marsha and Dave Bartlett of Grand Island.
Also surviving are her grandchildren, Zakk Kosmicki, Justin Kosmicki, Derek Long, Jeremy Kosmicki, Avery Marr, Tyler Marr, Xane Kosmicki, Tyson Jurgens, Hannah Jurgens, Abby Jurgens, Brandon Medjo, Bobby Kosmicki, and Bobbi Alcorta; numerous great-grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren, numerous step-great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Maxine and Merlyn Lewis and Rita Lewis, all of Litchfield, Elaine and Dick Anstin of Kearney.
Judith attended elementary school Gothenburg and later attended Walnut Junior High School in Grand Island, graduating from Grand Island Senior High School with the class of 1961.
She was united in marriage to Marion "LaVern" Kosmicki on May 25, 1961, in Grand Island. He preceded her in death on Oct. 2, 1984.
She later married Eldon "Ollie" Ault on May 19, 1989, in Green Forest, Ark.
The couple made their home in Arkansas until 1990 when they moved to Grand Island.
She was employed by Conoco Cafe, Pam's Cafe, the Yancy, Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Coney Island, Skagway and Monfort's.
She enjoyed polka and waltz music, dancing, playing cards, gambling and scratch tickets, camping and fishing with Eldon.
In addition to her first husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Owings; a sister, Barbara Frauen; and a stepson, Monte Ault.
