Barbara was born June 24, 1945, at Gothenburg to Roy and Gertrude (Hansen) Owings.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary A. Frauen.
Survivors are: daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle Niedfelt, Tammy and Darin Graves, and Sandy and Jeff Coffey, all of Grand Island; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Becky Owings; and sisters, Annette Houvland, Judy Ault, and Marsha (Dave) Bartlett, all of Grand Island.
Barbara married Gary A. Frauen on Sept. 21, 1963, and raised their family in Grand Island.
Barbara was a CNA and worked at St. Francis Medical Center and for 15 years at Park Place when she retired.
Barbara was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ronald Owings; and two grandchildren.
Her hobbies were her family, daughters and grandchildren. She was also an avid Husker fan.
