MRS. ELMER HAACK
Funeral for Mrs. Elmer Haack, 80, LeMars, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Grace Lutheran Church, LeMars, with Rev. H. H. Schauland officiating.
Burial will be in Remsen City Cemetery under the direction of of the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home, LeMars, where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
Ethel Hulda Haack died March 9, 1984, at Floyd Valley Hospital after entering the hospital four days earlier.
She was born April 9, 1903, in Cherokee County to Henry and Anna Kirchoff Ohlendorf. She lived in Cherokee County until her marriage to Elmer Haack Sept. 11, 1928, at rural Marcus. They moved to the Remsen area where they lived until moving to LeMars in 1970.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and Lydia Circle.
Survivors are her husband, Elmer of LeMars; three sons, Duane and Dean Haack, of Sioux City, and Rodney Haack, Auburn, Calif.; six grandchildren and a great-grandson; two brothers, Ted Ohlendorf, Tracey, Calif., and Lyle Ohlendorf, Polk City, Iowa; four sisters, Mrs. Roy (Adeline) Hanno, LeMars, Mrs. Tom (Marie) Warrander, Cherokee, and Mrs. Henry (Verna) Rieper, and Mrs. Hans (Ruth Ann) Meehan, both of Marcus.
She was preceded in death by a son, Norman; an infant son; two sisters; and two brothers.
