Chad Thomas Odette
TOWANDA — Chad Thomas Odette, 25, Towanda, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1999, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, as a result of an automobile crash.
Mr. Odette was born May 19, 1974, at Davenport, Iowa. He worked for Dustrol Road Construction, Towanda. He was a member of the Catholic Church.
Survivors include his mother, Sylvia Chancellor of La Porte City, Iowa; his father, Ron Odette of Salida, Colo.; five brothers, Tony of Miltonvale, Todd of Belfair, Wash., Paul of Lenexa, Seth of Gunnison, Colo., and Dallas of Salida; a sister, Tessa Odette of Salida; four stepbrothers, Brad Sherbert of Alabama, Travois Dooley of Gunnison, Jason Chancellor of Beloit and Bradley Chancellor of San Diego; a stepsister, Michelle Chancellor of Belleville; and his grandmother, Alexine Odette of Concordia.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia, the Rev. Steven Heina officiating.
Burial will be in St. Concordia Cemetery, Concordia.
A vigil will be at 7 p.m. today at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, 325 W. Sixth, Concordia 66901.
Memorials may be made to Kansas Brain Injury Association or Quail Unlimited, Visitation will be after 9 a.m. today and until noon Saturday at the funeral home.
