On 26-28 June 1900 John L. Nelson (b. Jan. 1867), wife Rilla (b. Sept. 1872), children; Myrl. (b. May 1895), Raymond L. (b. Oct. 1896) and boarder John P. Anderson (b. Dec. 1857) lived in Parkersburg, Coos County, Oregon. John and Rilla had been married 6 years, having 2 children, 2 living. John was a teamster. Mr. Anderson was a match wood cutter. NOTE: Blanche was born 8 months after this census.

On 23 April 1910 Rilla Nelson (37), children; Merle (13), Raymond L. (12) and Blanche M. (9) lived on Military Ave. in West Roseburg Precinct, Douglas County, Oregon. Census shows Rilla was divorced. She was employed as a cook.

On 7-8 January 1920 R. Fred Peterson (59), wife Rilla (47) and step-daughter, Blanche (18) lived in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon. Fred immigrated in 1892 and naturalized in 1898.  He was a watchman for Electric Power Co..

In 1930 Ralph M. Cox (38), wife Blanch M. (29) and daughter Bettie M. (7) lived in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon. Ralph was a clerk for a shipping company. NOTE: Blanch and Bettie are listed on next page of census.
