Services for Vardaman G. Miller, 88, of Ralls will be held 11 a.m. today at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Floyd Haddock officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

He died Wednesday, August 11, 1999. He was born Jan. 28, 1911, in Covington. He was a member of Ralls First Baptist Church where he taught Sunday school for 51 years. He was a member of the Emma Masonic Lodge No. 931 where he received his 50 year pin. He was a past president of the Ralls Co-Op Gin, and a director of the Crosby County Fuel Board. He was a member of the Texas Farmers Union. He was a graduate of Ralls High School, and attended North Texas Normal. He was a retired farmer. He moved to the Ralls area in 1927 from Hill County.

Survivors include two brothers, C.C. of Austin, and T.G. of Ralls.
