She retired from Gen Corp in 1991 and previously worked at RCA for 17 ½ years. Mary was a charter member of Faith Baptist Church. She enjoyed crossword and word search puzzles. Above all she loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Paul M. Gallaway, Marion; children, Paula Kay (Gary) Holleman, Hamilton, Ohio, Dennis E. (Jann) Gallaway Marion, Robert H. (Charlene) Gallaway, LaFontaine, Emma A. Swarts, Sweetser; 12 grandchildren; 23 great- grandchildren and two on the way; cared for 59 foster children; sister-in-law, Rosalie McKinney; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeremy Scott Gallaway; brothers, Dewey McKinney, Floyd E. McKinney, Carroll McKinney; sisters, Bonnie McKinney, Edna B. Tunnel, Verna Lee Goen, Stella McKinney.
Funeral Service will at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2011 in Faith Baptist Church, 3340 S. Lincoln Blvd, Marion, Indiana with the Rev. Gary Ashbrooke officiating. Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2011 in Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 North Baldwin Avenue, Marion, IN.
