She worked as servant for William M. and Ellen Deering of Philadelphia. Annie never married but spent her last years living with the family of her sister Jane Wilson and acting as housekeeper. They lived at 1541 West 28th Street in Philadelphia. Annie was 61 years old when she died of kidney problems.
Note-On the 1900 census her birth year is given as 1870; on the 1910 census and still living with the Deerings it is 1860; and on her death certificate her nephew gave the date March 1857.
