John Edward "Eddie" McInturff, 82, died Thursday, November 27, 2008, at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital, Woodstock, VA.

Mr. McInturff was born in Middletown, Virginia on October 18, 1926, son of the late William Arthur and Florence Frances Willey McInturff. He was a member of the Toms Brook United Methodist Church. He was a retired brick mason.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James William McInturff and Fred Eugene McInturff.

Survivors include his wife, Norma McWilliams McInturff; a daughter, Carmel McInturff Orndorff and husband, Charlie, of Woodstock; two grandchildren, Christen Orndorff Palmer and husband, Joshua, of Winchester, and Craig Leroy Orndorff of Maurertown; one sister, Katherine Frances "Kitty" McInturff McCrea of Lynchburg; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was conducted Sunday, Nov. 30 at Riverview Cemetery with the Reverend David Palmer officiating.
