Winnie Fay McMillan, formerly Winnie Fay Chandler, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 2 p.m., at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple, Texas, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband, Wilder.

Winnie Fay was born in Lubbock,Texas, to the late Daniel Allen and Neata McGregor, one of seven children. She grew up in Pendelton and Troy, Texas, and was a graduate of Troy High School. Winnie lived in Waco for the last 60 years. She worked for General Dynamics in Fort Worth during World War II and worked for several dentists in the Waco area. Winnie was a long time member of First United Methodist Church of Waco.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilder Eugene Chandler III (1956); her son, Wilder Eugene "Scooter" Chandler IV; her second husband, Thomas Orval McMillan (2002); brothers: William Ray McGregor, Allen Jerrel McGregor, and Loyd O. McGregor; and sisters: Callie Evon Anderson, Ethel Thornhill, and Clara B. Kitching.

Survivors include her son, Byron Chandler and wife, Kathy; daughters-in-law, Cindy Chandler Ford and Tanya Rhee-Na Chandler; grandchildren: Brin Chandler, Ursula Woessner, W.E. "Will" Chandler V, Stacia Chandler, and Shayna Huegel; great-grandchildren: Tristen Woessner, Jerimiah Alcoser, Evan and Natalie Huegel, Wilder, and Harper Chandler; step-daughters: Jackie McMillan Hedge, Jane McMillan, and Judith McMillan; step-grandchildren: Jane McMillan, Naomi Lovallo, Stacie Miracle, Shannon Barnes, and David Hedge; and step-great-grandson, Corey Barnes.
