Mrs. Juanita M. Clarke, age 94, died late Thursday at the Westminster Commons Health Care Center in Atlanta. The native of Bulloch County was the youngest daughter of the late John Daniel and Susan M. DeLoach McElveen. She was a beautician for many years in Statesboro. The homemaker was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Clarke enjoyed cooking and sewing and spending quality time with her family and friends. She was of the Methodist faith. Her husband, Robert E. "Bobby" Clarke preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Janice Clarke Browning of St. Simons Island, GA; two grandchildren, John Daniel Browning, III of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Barbara Browning Wrede of Atlanta, GA; two great -grandchildren, India and Molly Wrede, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at the Jake A. Futch Funeral Home. The graveside service and burial will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at the New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery.
