MATTINGLY, BETTY MAE, of Louisville entered eternal life peacefully on Saturday October 9, 2010 at her home with her family by her side.

She was born on March 5, 1939 in Raywick, KY to the late Charles Ben Morris (Apr. 11, 1908-Jul. 6, 1999) and Mary Myrtle Shelton Morris (Jun. 5, 1921-Sept. 30, 2010).

Betty was manager of Shaheens Department Store in the Knobview Center for 17 years before her disability in 1998. Betty was a member of St. Athanasius Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, three children, two grandchildren, and two sisters.

A mass of Christian burial will be conducted Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at noon at St. Athanasius Church, 5915 Outer Loop, with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday, October 11, 2010 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with prayer vigil at 7 p.m.

Expressions of sympathy are suggested to the Parkinson's Association.

The family wishes to express their thanks for the care and compassion shown to them during this time from Hosparus of Louisville.
