Julia M. Flores, age 70, of Clovis, NM, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.
Julia was born on May 27, 1941 to Samuel and Trinidad (Padilla) Lucero in Las Vegas, NM.
Julia married Ignacio Flores on November 2, 1976 in Las Vegas, NM.
Julia was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and Senior Citizens Resident Center. Julia enjoyed going to casinos and spending time with her pets. Survivors include her three sons, Joseph Rodarte, James Rodarte and his wife, Gloria and Ralph Archueta and his wife, Maurice all of Clovis, NM, three daughters, Debby Rodarte, Erica López and her husband, Tim and Orlinda Padilla all of Clovis, NM, three sisters, Josie Durán of Las Vegas, NM, Clara Trujillo and her husband, Mike of Santa Rosa, NM and Christine Padilla of Phoenix, AZ, 17 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
Julia was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Trinidad, her husband, Ignacio, son, Ignacio Flores III, daughter, Diane Kathrine Rodarte, grandchild, Christopher Rodarte and great-grandchild, Jaelynn Rodarte.
Rosary will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2012 at Muffley Funeral Home Chapel, 1430 Thornton, Clovis, NM. Funeral Services will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Deacon Daniel Chávez officiating. Burial will be held at 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Santa Fé National Cemetery in Santa Fé, NM.
