Banker and Businessman. He resided primarily in Boston, and was active in the investment banking firms of Kidder, Peabody & Co. and Luce, Crehore & Co. After the Spanish-American War he lived for several years in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he was an incorporator of Central Aguirre Sugar Company and President of the Ponce & Guayama Railroad. In retirement he maintained homes in Boston and in Newport, Rhode Island. He died at a Fall River hospital following injuries sustained after his car skidded into a trolley car in Tiverton, Rhode Island. (Thank you Bill McKern)
