Brooklet - Carol Jean Shaw Ellerbeck, 59, died Wednesday evening at Bulloch Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
The Bulloch County native lived most of her life in Brooklet. She worked as a manager for Time Saver Minit Market Inc., and was a member of Emit Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna S. Colson; two sons, Ronnie and Ken Shaw; one brother, James Lowe, all of Statesboro; and four grandchildren, Jana, Kelli and Dylan Shaw and Chris Colson.
The funeral will be held Friday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Hodges-Turner Funeral Home with the Rev. Hubert Tankersley officiating. Burial will be in Emit Grove Church Cemetery. Hodges-Turner Funeral Home.
