Mary Agnes Logsdon, 78, of Union Star, died Sept. 20, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital in Hospital in Hardinsburg. Born on Oct. 21, 1911 in Meade County, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas Logsdon & Mary Elizabeth Mattingly Logsdon.
Mrs. Logsdon was the widow of Joseph L. Logsdon, who preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 1976. Prayers were recited by Father Don Goetz at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, from the chapel of Jenkins Funeral Home.
Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Hall; three sisters, Mrs. Maggie Bell Bassett, Cloverport, Mrs. Elizabeth Reezor, Henderson, and Mrs. Esther Corby, Texas; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 24, from St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church with Father Don Goetz officiating. Interment was in St. Mary Magdalene Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Robert Hall, Joe Hall, Mike Hall, Harold Hall, Willard Hall and Jerry Beams.
