THELMA RYNO LEWIS
Whitney - Thelma Ryno Lewis, a Whitney homemaker, died Friday at a local nursing home. She was 78. Services will be 1:30pm Sunday at Fort Graham Baptist Church near Whitney, the Rev. Allan Lane
officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Hubbard. Mrs. Lewis was born June 8, 1914, in Wortham, and lived in Hill County the past 20 years. She married John Travis (T.) Lewis on Aug. 4, 1934; he died Dec. 20, 1988. Mrs. Lewis was a member of Fort Graham Baptist Church. A son, Thomas
Edward Lewis, died in 1937. A daughter, Mildred Elaine Schaffer, died in 1966, and another daughter, Beth Snyder, died in 1990. Survivors include a son, John T. Lewis Jr. of Fort Worth; two daughters, Paula Holley of Springtown and Jan Creamer of Whitney; a brother, Walter Ryno of Waco; four sisters, Myrtle Lewis, Lois Lands and Lillian Fleming, all of West, and Beaulah Hahn of Gatesville; 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 tonight at Marshall & Marshall
