Mrs Elizabeth Dorroh Laval, wife of veteran athletic instructor and coach W L (Billy) Laval, died early yesterday morning at the Providence Hospital.
She had been ill for some time.
Mrs Laval was the former Elizabeth Dorroh, daughter of the late Henry and Dora Rita Dorroh of Newberry County. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Columbia.
Survivors include, in addition to her husband, a daughter, Mrs J W Wilson of Union; one son, Harry L Laval of Columbia; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm today at Dunbar Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will be Bob Dorroh, William Dorroh, John Henry Dorroh, Pete Dorroh, John Y DuPre, James Morrison and T C Camp.
