Mildred was born on July 26, 1918, in Edwards, Ill., to Charles and Mattie (Anderson) Lair. She married Robert E. James on April 4, 1942, in Peoria, Ill.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Robert James; her four children, Linda, Tom, Ruth Ann and Kathy; and her five brothers.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
