Arlene LaVaun Hill Kraft, 72, of Lipscomb, died February 20, 2017 in Canadian.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Lipscomb Cemetery with Donald Hill pastor and Bruce Johnson elder of The River Ministries, officiating. Arrangements are under the Direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.
Mrs. Kraft was born March 25, 1944 in Canadian and was a lifelong resident of Lipscomb. She married Merle Kraft on July 23, 1961 in Lipscomb. She was the former Postmaster in Lipscomb and was a member of the Lipscomb Union Church.
Survivors include her husband, Merle Kraft of the home; three daughters, Susan Crowley and husband, Rusty, of Leedy, Oklahoma, Renee Johnson and husband, Eddie, of Canadian, and Laura Morrow and husband, Guy, of Fort Worth; two brothers, Lane Hill of Darrouzett and Lance Bussard and wife, Tanja, of Lipscomb; a sister, Jeannine Burks of Houston; seven grandchildren, Natalie Taylor of Arnett, Oklahoma, Amber Ford, Chris Ford, Pam Guillen and husband, Juan, and Erica Smyth and husband Chase, all of Canadian, Ashley Archer and husband, Brent, of Sonora, and Parker Dear of Fort Worth; and ll great grandchildren.
LaVaun was preceded in death by her father, John Hill; her mother and stepfather, Mona and Jim Bussard; and a grandson Cole Taylor.
