Rachel Kistler Clodfelter, 100, of Mooresville, passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the Serenity House in Mooresville.

She was born on October 21, 1917 in Iredell County, NC, to the late William and Gertrude Lytle Kistler. Mrs. Clodfelter was a life-long, active member of First Baptist Church Mooresville, where she worked in the nursery for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Keith Barron Clodfelter; daughter Shirley McIntosh; son Ronald Clodfelter; grandson Brad Clodfelter; brothers Rod Kistler, Clayton Kistler, Henry Kistler, Fred Kistler; sisters Betty Mills, Willie Brantley, and Katie Kistler.

Mrs. Clodfelter is survived by her son Phillip D. Clodfelter (Ann); daughter-in-law Rebecca Clodfelter; grandsons James McIntosh (Laurie), Bryan Clodfelter (Tammy), Maury Clodfelter (Tammatha), Mitch Clodfelter (Marion); granddaughters Teresa Mabardy (Paul), Lisa Yost (Mike), Cathy C. McInturff (Wayne) Cheryl Cains (Jeff); great grandson Steven Clodfelter; great granddaughters McKenzie Crippen (Clay), Carly Clodfelter, Kate Clodfelter, Rachel M. Hall (Ryan), Elizabeth McInturff, Sarah Mabardy, Anna Craft (Cameron); great-great grandson Walter G. Hall; great-great granddaughter Adelaide Hall; and special nieces, Sue Rodgers, Shelia Brantley, Gloria Kidd, Judy Crawford, Jean Manall, and Janice Sherman.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 21 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 22 at First Baptist Church Mooresville with Rev. Dr. Jerry Cloninger, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Glenwood Memorial Park.
