Our lovely wife, mother, and grandmother, Audrey Mae King Brown, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2015 of natural causes.

She was the daughter of Wallace C. King and Pauline A. King. Audrey loved living on her family's farm in beautiful Floyd County. She grew up wanting to be a pharmacist, but decided instead to complete a teaching degree. She taught elementary school for several years.

Audrey spent a summer during World War II in Washington, D.C., researching information for letters sent to soldiers' families.

In 1947, she married George H. Brown. They have two sons, Mike and Jerry. In 1959, the family moved to Utah because of a job transfer.

Audrey was an incredible cook, always making sure that her family enjoyed their special treats for holidays and birthdays.

She especially enjoyed making those treats with her granddaughter, Elizabeth, whom she loved dearly.

Audrey was a woman of faith and lived her life in service to others.
