CUYAHOGA FALLS – Marjorie Zane Amadio, 86, of 2339 14th St. died Monday, Nov. 6, at Gardens of the Western Reserve. Mrs. Amadio was born Monday, April 12, 1920 in Struthers, a daughter of the late Earl and Roberta Call Kerr. Mrs. Amadio was a 1938 graduate of Struthers High School. She had worked for the Scott’s Store in Struthers before moving to Cuyahoga Falls with her husband in 1950, where she was a homemaker. Beside her husband, Paul whom she married Oct. 23, 1945, she leaves twin daughters, Marjorie Amadio and Margaret (Dale) Oden, all of Cuyahoga Falls; a sister, Georgia (William) Norling of New Middletown; and two brothers-in-law, John Anthony “Tony” (Rachel) Amadio of Austintown and Thomas E. (Sarah) Amadio of Stow. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, 11 Spring St. in Struthers, with Rev. David Blood officiating. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Boardman. Following interment there will a luncheon at the Davidson-Becker Family Center, 10 Spring St. in Struthers. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Cuyahoga Falls. Contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Visiting Nurse Service, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron, OH 44333.
