Vero Beach, FL — Helen Kent Dennis, a current resident of Vero Beach, passed away Friday the 10th of June, 2016 at the Indian River Medical Center.
Born in 1930 in Gibson, Georgia, Helen attended Warner Robbins High School where she met her husband of 64 years, William. She continued her education at Georgia Business College in order to pursue a career in business administration.
Helen worked as a court reporter at Robbins Air Force Base in Warner Robbins, Georgia until leaving to raise her growing family. Helen loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cooking for her family and fishing with her spouse.
She was a member and regular attendee of Asbury Methodist Church in Vero Beach, Florida
She is survived by her husband, William Dennis and three of her children: Thomas (Mia), Walter (Sheila), and Denise (Bobby). Helen was preceded in death by her oldest son, Michael (Josephine). She was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorial gifts may be made to the American Heart Association.
