Mrs. Barbara E. Baer, widow of Daniel Baer, died at her home in Chestnut street, Waynesboro, yesterday morning at 8:20 o'clock, aged 76 years, 8 months and 15 days.

The will of Mrs. Barbara Baer, late of Washington township, has been probated with her daughter Elizabeth and Jacob Frick as executors.

Barbara Kendig was born Feb 14, 1833 in Franklin County, Pennsylvania; the daughter of Jacob Kendig and Elizabeth Rohrer. She was married to Daniel Baer, son of Samuel & Freany Baer.
Barbara & Daniel were the parents of four known children;
Elizabeth Baer (1847~1927) (tombstone marked as 1857)
Ida Baer b: 1859
Sarah Katherine Bear: (1861~1957; married Luther Snyder)
John Bear: b:1864
Daniel and Barbara lived and raised their family in Leitersburg district, Washington County, Maryland. Daniel died in 1884. Barbara remained in Washington County, Maryland until just before her death on Oct. 29, 1909, in Washington Twp, Franklin Co., PA. She was laid to rest with her family in the Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, PA.
