Gladys Kasey Dowell Holston, 89, of Hardinsburg, died Thursday, March 20, 2014, at her residence.She was born June 19, 1924, the daughter of the late Herman and Kathleen Carman Kasey.She was preceded in death by two husbands, Ernest Dowell and Albert Holston; a daughter, Mary Florence Dooley; and a brother, Leonard Kasey.Gladys is survived by two sons, Ernie Dowell of Hardinsburg and Dana (Lynn) Dowell of Flaherty; a sister, Nettie Wright of Louisville; and four grandchildren Allison Dowell, Jeffrey Spencer and Lindsey and Byron Dowell.The funeral is at 2 p.m. EDT Sunday at Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington. Burial follows in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4 to 9 p.m. EDT Saturday and continues at 8 a.m. EDT Sunday at the funeral home.
