Mrs. Viola E. Hause, 93, of 339 E. Jamestown Rd. (West Salem Twp.) Greenville, formerly of Houston, TX and Florida, passed away at 5:15 AM, Friday, December 14th, 2007 at St. Paul Homes.
Viola was born in Vernon, OH on September 24, 1914, the daughter of the late Guy and Alma (Heibner) Jewell.
She worked at First National Bank, the former Routman's Dress Shop and the former Pastry Shop, all in Greenville.
She enjoyed crocheting and playing cards.
She graduated from Burghill, OH School and was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club.
She was the widow of Kenneth L. Hause. They were married on January 1, 1939 and he preceded her in death on January 29, 1990. Viola is survived by: A daughter-in-law: Rita Hause of Greenville; a son-in-law: Bill Hamer of Houston, TX; five grandchildren: Kevin (and wife Jamie) Hause of Tennessee, Lenny (and wife Tammy) Hause of Greenville, Paul (and wife Jennifer) Hause of Greenville, Tracey (and husband) Paul) Martin of Houston, TX, and Michelle (and husband Corey) Fenton of Greenville; ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: a son: Larry Hause; a daughter: Sandy Hamer; and two sisters: Vera Guesman and Della Kale.
Viewing was private and no services are scheduled. Burial will be held at North Meadowlawn Cemetery, New Port Richey, FL.
