Sparks, Mrs. Howard T., 301 Michigan Ave., died St. Mary's Hospital after an emergency operation Tues. afternoon for abcess of brain. Born in Galesburg 15 Dec 1908, where remained all her life. Attended Churchill School. Later employed local stores. She had been at McClellan's store. Married Howard T. Sparks 20 Oct 1928. Survivors: husband; parents, Henry and Florence Irons, two sisters -- Mrs. Beulah McClain of Chicago and Viola of Galesburg; three brothers -- Bernard and his twin brother, Harley, and Lee of Galesburg, Mrs. Lillie Haskins.
