FRANKFORT - Oct. 4. - Mrs. Carrie A. Caldwell, 75, former resident of Jefferson, died at 7:30 p.m. yesterday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ethel Patrick, of Chicago, where she had lived for several years.
Mrs. Caldwell was born in Prairie Center, Clinton county, and in 1889 married Frank C. Caldwell. She was a member of the Frankfort Methodist church. Surviving are three daughters: Mrs. Patrick; Mrs. Hazel Bristow, Gary, and Mrs. Hallie Jones, Kokomo; a son, Jesse, Frankfort; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Schrop, Phoenxi, Ariz., and Mrs. Sarah B. Wade, Frankfort, and a granddaughter whom she reared, Mrs. Freida Reitzel Beaver, Antioch.
Friends may call at the local Goodwin funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday. Services at 2 p.m. Monday from the funeral home, the Rev. E. E. Franklin officiating; burial in Bunnell cemetery.
