Dorothy P. Bielman, age 85, died peacefully at her home on May 5, 2014. Dorothy was born on March 6, 1929 in Detroit, the daughter of Joseph and Esther Hughes. She was a graduate of Dominican High School in Detroit. On April 23, 1955, Dorothy married Jack Bielman at St. Matthew Church in Detroit.
Dorothy was a homemaker who enjoyed artwork, crafts, painting and making jewelry. She loved her family and was involved in all of their lives.
Dorothy is survived by her children: Mary Bielman, Russell Bielman (Mo), Peggy Bates (Joe), Theresa Marazano (Frank), Tom Bielman (Anne), Barbara DeMartino (Dave), and Janet Bielman. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack; their daughter Karen and her sister, Betty.
