Services for Charles D. Horn, 76, of Lubbock will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Resthaven's Abbey Chapel with Ken Horn officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.

He died Monday, March 13, 2000, at Covenant Medical Center.

He was born April 17, 1923, in Shannon. He married Betty Adams May 3, 1946, in Joy. He worked for Frito-Lay for 28 years before retiring in 1985. He was a resident of Lubbock since 1957, moving from Amarillo. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany during World War II. He was a lifetime member of the VFW.

A son, Gary L., died April 5, 1999.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Charley of Horn Lake, Miss., and Larry and Tom, both of Lubbock; a daughter, Carol Horn of Lubbock; a brother, N.C. Horn of Littlefield; a sister, Lessie Butler of Missouri; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
