ANOTHER INFLUENZA DEATH
Mrs. Verna Hills Briner died at the home of her parents yesterday afternoon about 4 o'clock of pneumonia following an attack of the grippe aged almost 29 years.
The deceased was the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Hills and was well and most favorably known in Clearfield where she spent most of her life.
She was a graduate of the Clearfield High School and also engaged quite successfully as a teacher in our schools a couple of terms.
She was married to Harry Briner of Akron, Ohio, in June, 1917, and lived for a time at Akron. Recently the husband secured employment at Kurtz Bros. factory and they took up their residence in Clearfield. Mrs. Briner was stricken with influenza almost ten days ago.
The funeral will occur tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock.
