Passed away on September 9, 2010, at the age of 91. Born Pauline Heaton to George and Doris (Smith) Heaton, Pauline spent most of her life in Indianapolis where she and husband Howard raised three sons. A graduate of Tech High School, she worked as a school secretary for MSD Warren Township at Woodview Junior High School and later Stonybrook Middle School. In retirement, Pauline enjoyed gardening and the blessings of family, friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard E. Armstrong; son, Geoffrey; brother, Wallace Heaton and twin sisters, Majorie Heirider and Mildred Persell. Survivors include sons, Tom (Ruth), Tim (Mindy); three granddaughters, Beth Meador, Alison Benz and Lesley Eberle; three great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and dear in-laws, Bob and Nancy Atherton.
