Don R. Hayes age 76, died at home of cancer July 5, 2007 surrounded by his loving family. Don was born Jan. 5, 1931 in Seattle, Wash. to Clara and John Hayes. He grew up in Seattle and attended Boise Junior College. He served honorably and with distinction in the Marine Corp for 13 years, 9 months and 7 days. He served his country during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Boeing, Wood Grain Molding and Pinkerton Security. He is survived by wife of 24 years, Judith, a daughter Pam, son Keith and six step-children, 30 grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren. Preceding him to the other side, are his son Mark, mother, Clara and his father, John. Don enjoyed guns and target practice, reading, and his dog Max. He was especially proud of his children, and grandchildren and their many accomplishments. A visitation will be held at Conner Family Funeral Chapel, 2685 Caldwell Blvd. in Nampa, today, Sunday July 8 from 4 - 8 p.m. A Graveside services will be on Monday July 9, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at Kohlerlawn Cemetery, 76 6th St North, Nampa, ID.
