Mrs H. B. Hartshorne
Mrs. Ruth Jane Hartshorne, 78, a former resident of West Chester, died yesterday in a hospital in Great Barrington, Mass. She was the wife of Herbert B. Hartshorne.
Mr. and Mrs. Hartshorne made their hoe with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harold W. Hartshorne in Massachusetts.
Mrs. Hartshorne was a member of the Bible Presbyterian Church, West Chester. Services and interment will be held in West Chester.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons: Harold W., Massachusetts; LeRoy B., West Chester, and Clarence F., West Chester, a member of the advertising staff at the Daily Local News. There are 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A brother, Edwin C. Guthrie, East Bradford, also survives.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral without further notice fro the Hicks Funeral Home, 229 S. High St., West Chester, on Thursday, Aug. 20, at 11 a.m. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening.
