Redlands has been her home for 39 years during which time she was an active member of the Holy Name of Jesus (Sacred Heart) Church. She was also a member of San Bernardino County Medical Society Alliance.
She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
She was also an avid golfer and bowler.
Adele was preceded in death by her husband, James G. Harmeling, M.D. She is survived by her seven children, Kathleen and her husband Seth Hill, Karen and her husband Dale Palmer, Robert Harmeling, Elizabeth Weir, Stephen Harmeling, Mary and her husband Jim Anderson and Gregory Harmeling; and her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Korogy, Jessica and Robert Hill, Ryan and Rachel Palmer, Christina and Kimberly Weir, Allyson Harmeling, Jackie and Aaron Anderson and Michael Harmeling.
A memorial Mass will be held on Monday, February 22, 2010, at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus (Sacred Heart) Church, 115 West Olive Avenue, Redlands.
