Alvin J. Hancock, 82, Bradenton, died Feb. 9, 2004. He was born July 27, 1921, in Indianapolis and came to Bradenton in 1988 from there. He retired from Chrysler Corp.

He was a member of Cumberland Masonic Lodge No. 726 Free and Accepted Masons in Cumberland, Ind, Valley of Indianapolis Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite and Order of Eastern Star Chapter No. 14 in Bradenton. He was a staff sergeant in the Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Bradenton.

Burial will be in Washington Park Cemetery, Indianapolis
