Funeral services for Lillian Frances Guice, 76, of Sicily Island were held Saturday at Pine Hill Baptist Church in Sicily Island with the Rev. Clois Cole and the Rev. Sydney Fletcher officiating.

Interment followed in New Pine Hill Cemetery in Sicily Island under the direction of Riser First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro.

Mrs. Guice died Friday, Dec. 6, 1996 at her residence. She was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church and former board member with the Catahoula Parish Library Board.

Survivors include her husband, John Friley Guice, Sicily Island; daughter, Debbie Longman, Ponchatoula; son, Keith Guice, Sicily Island; two brothers, J. R. Wells, Sicily Island; Oscar Wells, Arizona; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Craig Brooks, Carroll Barron, Casey Weeks, John Edmonds, M. B. Nolen III, Charles Miller, Charles Rutledge and Charlie Myers.
