Eva Allen
Eva M. Allen, 88, of Roseville, Ill., died at 11:30 p.m. Sunday, June 4, 2000, at Avon Nursing Home in Roseville.
Born Dec. 31, 1911, in Morning Sun, she was the daughter of Roy and Elsie Wright Goudie. She married Estin Allen in 1932. He died Jan. 20, 2000.
Mrs. Allen was raised in Morning Sun. In 1935, she and her husband moved to the Roseville community, where they farmed.
She lived in Roseville since 1960. She was a member of the Mutual Benefit Club and Swan Creek United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters-in-law; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Fred Goudie and Paul Goudie, both of Morning Sun; and one sister-in-law.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two sons and one granddaughter.
Visitation will begin at noon today at Corman Memorial Home in Roseville.
The graveside service for Mrs. Allen will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Roseville Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Gina Sheridan officiating.
Memorials have been established for Swan Creek Methodist Church and Roseville Ambulance.
