Lafayette- Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church in Lafayette for Edna G. Arceneaux, 68, who passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017.
Edna was born in Grand Coteau, LA and was a native of Lafayette for 54 years.
Edna leaves to mourn yet cherish her memories: four sons, Rickey J. Arceneaux, Ernest M. Arceneaux, Harold J. Arceneaux and Mabry Arceneaux Jr. (Lolita Boudreaux); two daughters, Patricia Arceneaux and wife (Shwanda Solomon) of Lafayette, Shawnte Arceneaux Smith (Warren) of Baton Rouge, LA; one step-sister, Holly Robinson; one brother, Aavon Gotch (Elise); twenty-two grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mabry Arceneaux, Sr. of 53 years, one brother, Anthony Gotch; one sister, Lorita Walker; her parents, Dallas Gotch and Emma Guidry; step-dad, Etienne Wood; and one great grandbaby, Miracle Dejon Senegal.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 5, 2017 from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Kinchen Funeral Home.
