Patricia Ann Adams, 75, of Springfield, Ohio went to be with the Lord at 4:21 am, Saturday, November 29, 2008 in her residence after her battle with cancer. She was born on January 20, 1933 in Springfield, Ohio.
She was the daughter of Roy and Martha (Logan) Gossett. She was a member of the Eagles, OEA, NEA, MRGEA, and the Springfield Church of Christ. She retired from teaching after 25 years. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her five children and spouses, Tom (Mary) Adams of Beavercreek, Kenny (Penny) Adams, Mich Adams, and Lisa Ratliff all of Springfield, and Linda (Anthony) Swindell of North Carolina; one sister and three brothers, Charlotte Whitt, Richard Gossett, Robert Gossett all of Springfield and Roger Gossett of Virginia Beach, VA; three grandchildren, Kris (Beth) Adams, J.T. Adams and Chelsea Ison all of Springfield; one great-grandchild Kayleigh Adams; six step grandchildren; and twelve step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters Maxine Bartz, Theresa Baker, and Jane Logan.
Friends and family may call Tuesday from 6-8 pm in the Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday in the memorial home with Mike Surgenor officiating. Burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Leesburg, Ohio.
