STACYVILLE – Cecelia R. Cummings, 79, passed away Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, in Bangor. She was born Nov. 18, 1933, in Winn, daughter of Herbert and Betty (Jones) Gordon.

She was an active member of St. Benedict's Church, Daughters of Isabella and Molunkus Valley Snowmobile Club. She retired from Mountain Heights Nursing Home after many years as a dietitian. Cecelia enjoyed preparing her famous beans for many functions. She also loved to participate in Horse and Wagon Ride in Support of Operation Liftoff, as well as many other charities.

Cecelia is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Earl L. Cummings of Stacyville; their children, Sherry and Jeff Arsenault of Bangor, John and Joyce Cummings of Stacyville, Earl J. and Susan Cummings of Silver Ridge, Debbie and Rick Long of Sherman, Diana Ouellette and significant other, Galen West, of Caribou, Jeffery and Kathy Cummings of Hermon, and Christopher and Norma Cummings of Stacyville; a special nephew, Scott Lenzzo; and niece, Brenda Lang; 15 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; brother, Herbert Gordon Jr. She was predeceased by her parents; two grandchildren, Kate and Scott Cummings; and sister, Sandra Lang. Special thanks to the staff of the Lincoln dialysis clinic, Patten Ambulance Service, Eastern Maine Medical Center and Ross Manor.
