CAMPBELL, BERTIE LOUISE, 22, of Arlington, died at the home of her father-in-law, Thomas Campbell at Alma, on Friday.
She had attended a movie in Luray on Thursday night and on returning to the Campbell home complained of a headache and retired. She was discovered unconscious the next morning and succumbed at 11:30 from unknown causes.
The similarity of symptoms between Mrs. Campbell and little Roger Lee Bailey, her nephew, whose funeral she and her husband attended has caused great concern among Page county doctors.
Physicians took every precaution possible and those who might have had contact were given medical attention.
Mrs. Campbell was a daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Raymond Gochenour, of the Stony Man section and was born on December 26, 1925.
She was a graduate of Luray High School and for the past year or more had been living in Arlington.
Her husband is Norlan Wayne Campbell, of Page county, who survives with their young son, Larry Norlan, sixteen months old. In addition to her parents, husband and son, she leaves the following brothers and sisters, all at home: Junior, Gertrude, Doris, Jimmie, Janet and Barbara Ann Gochenour.
